Thoughts from the blue room

Come in, stay a while. Would you like a cup of tea?

This has the potential to go brilliantly… or to make want to crawl into my closet.

I leave tomorrow for Bishop’s University, to present a paper on Saturday. Fuck, but I’m nervous. I’ve never done this before, this whole conference thing. I have only the vaguest idea of what’s expected of me.

I can only hope I don’t muff the reading up too badly, and can enjoy the rest of the conference.

Does anyone have any suggestions, you know, for things like not throwing up on stage?
